[OT]Name that tune

Been trying to recall the name of a tune. All I can recall is a snippet of
the lyrics - googling them produces nada which was a surprise (maybe I
remembered them wrong)

The snippet of lyrics went something like:
"It was the last film I ever saw. The words where short, so sincere"

You'd thing with that it would easy as PI but it would seem not.

Can anyone help?
