Which Seymour Duncan pickups would you recommend?

I just bought a Gibson Special faded SG. I love the guitar, but the pickups
aren't really great for playing metal. I'm looking to get some Seymour
Duncan's, either the JB4 or the SH5. I have the SH5 on a Jackson and they
sound good, but I haven't been able to try out the JB4's yet. Does anyone
have an SG with the JB's in them? Any recommendations would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.

dimarzio super distortion is the only way to go.
seymour duncan are way over rated...
i have spent over 1,000$ experimenting with duncans.
i always go back to the original pickup replacements.

When it comes to pickups, your own personal preference comes to bare.
Questions to ask: What type of music are you listening to.
There is nothing wrong with DiMario Pickups I personally like them as well
as the EMG line. I have EMG in my Telecaster. DiMarzio in my Les Paul.
When i decided to build my new guitar I decided to use Seymour Duncan. I
went with the Jeff Beck (Neck position) and the '59 for the Bridge. I need
a single coil for the middle; I haven't decided yet. anyway you can hear
all SD on their web site they are played in Distortion as well as Clean
settings as well as the position on the guitar i.e. Neck bridge.
